The Contractor shall be capable of and responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining cloud computing systems
- Building and optimizing cloud infrastructure
- Migrating applications to the cloud
- Maintaining security across cloud environments
Required Skillsets and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls
- Knowledge of security protocols and standards such as SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and tools
- Experience with encryption techniques and cryptographic protocols
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and common attack vectors
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and orchestration tasks
CERTIFICATIONS: Relevant certifications can be advantageous, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
