The CMMC Level 2 certification demonstrates AFORGE’s commitment to safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and ensuring the highest standards of cybersecurity across all operations. This milestone places AFORGE among the early wave of Department of Defense (DoD) contractors to meet this new mandate.
This certification process requires AFORGE to fully implement the 110 security controls outlined in NIST SP 800-171, undergo rigorous assessments, and demonstrate long-term plans for maintaining compliance. With this certification, AFORGE is well-positioned to continue supporting critical DoD programs and expand its role in the defense supply chain.
